BREAKING NEWS!
JESUS CHRIST HAS RISEN!
I can only imagine how excited and in awe those who first witnessed Jesus no longer being in the tomb! The instant joy they felt not to see Him lying there no more!
It’s more than just a one-day celebration! What the world refers to today is Easter, a day with cute bunnies and colorful eggs and a picture-taking day with our little ones. Families may dress in their “Sundays Best,” eat good food, spend time with family, and pack the churches out on this special day.
For believers, this day goes far beyond just those festivities. We celebrate what we call Resurrection Sunday! This Good New’s is life-changing; it brings hope and gives all who believe a new life through Jesus because of what He did for the world on the cross.
Can I be honest with you?
Every day should be a celebration of this Good News we have received!
It is a privilege to share the Gospel because if it wasn’t for Jesus dying on the cross and conquering death by raising three days later. WE ALL WOULD BE DOOMED! There will be no point in living this life because nothing we could do would change our ending; it’ll be depressing and hopeless. BUT GLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY FOR ALREADY HAVING A PLAN FOR US! We can now live a life full of purpose and joy through Him because of Jesus’s perfect life, power, and obedience to be a sacrifice for our sins! He has conquered death and took the sting out of it too!
Glory to God!
O , death, where is your sting? O, Grave, where is your victory?
1 Corinthians 15:55
What He endured on the cross was simply because of the unconditional love He first had for us. He paid a considerable price that not even the wealthiest person on the planet can afford! Jesus took care of the world’s sin debt, and now we can live in newness through our decision to follow Jesus, which results in us having eternal life if only we believe in Him. (Romans 10:9)
IT IS FINISHED!
And after making this decision, we now have access to the same power that rose Jesus from the grave.
HIS HOLY SPIRIT.
Who is alive and dwelling in us believers today. He is our Helper, as we so earnestly wait for our Savior to return! We have a life now because of Jesus giving up His life, no longer in darkness and brought into His marvelous light.
What a beautiful life we can now live knowing that our King Jesus is alive and victorious, and we have victory through Him, for He has won the battle!
Doesn’t it feel good to be on the winning team?
I can not help but praise God every single day and give Him glory for His master plan He had for us long before the world was formed! This is the best gift we can ever receive! Thankyou Lord for your new mercy and grace each day towards us!
